Biography

Erin K. Ellis, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC started her career in healthcare over 18 years ago as an LPN at Grady Health Systems working in the pediatric ICU. She moved from pediatrics to family medicine, and then into the surgical portion of her career while becoming a Registered Nurse. The majority of her career, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, was spent in surgery, and later specializing in orthopedic and orthopedic spine surgery. She is currently a preceptor to our local nursing programs and has a philosophy that “knowledge is worth everything if you share it.” Her goal is to help strengthen the voice and needs for adult primary care and preventative medicine for the adult special needs community while giving quality care to all of her patients.
